"We had a breakfest on our morning walk on this beautiful place. The food itself was plain and maybe small for a bigger person. The service was compensating that a lot as people were friendly and very attending. Location is great, right on the beach. We were told that sunbeds are free for the day, if we would eat there as well. That sounds like a proper deal."

"Ocean restaurant is the best place at the Platanias beach. The hosts are very nice and welcoming. We have been here many times, and tested a lot from the menu - always satisfied. This week we have eaten sausages, chicken soup, spaghetti bolognese, Ocean salad, Avocado salad, and everything was delicious. We will be back"

"Ocean Restaurant became one of our best memories from Crete. We loved that it’s not a tourist “trap,” but an honest, family-run restaurant with heart. Valia spoke with all the guests, asked if they were satisfied, and suggested local dishes. We had seafood spaghetti, steamed mussels, and a fresh fish that had just arrived. The flavors were rich but not heavy, and the quality was excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly, which really makes the difference. We will definitely come back."

"This restaurant serves incredibly delicious food. The portions are just right. You’re truly taken care of by the smiling, service-minded, and thoroughly professional staff – even when it’s busy. Their trust in us went beyond our expectations. On one of the really busy days, they even asked if we could come back later to pay. Wow, that says it all. There’s also a bonus: when you eat or drink something, you get free sun loungers and a parasol. We folks from Jutland like that! Stop by and experience it for yourself.
